Joshua Yeoh is a serial entrepreneur and Managing Director of A28 Global Sdn Bhd. He started his first company at 19 and chose entrepreneurship over medical school at 20. By 23, after rebuilding from an early failure, he had built and exited a technology consulting business.

Today, he leads strategy, solution architecture and delivery at A28 Global, helping governments and enterprises turn complex policy, business and operational challenges into digital platforms, data intelligence and AI-enabled solutions.

The session explored three fundamental questions facing every organisation adopting AI.

Joshua challenged leaders to move beyond simply using AI to validate their existing assumptions. Instead, he encouraged them to question AI, challenge its responses, test the facts and use it to strengthen human thinking rather than replace it. He emphasised the importance of giving teams the tools, information and autonomy to take ownership, while maintaining clear accountability and boundaries for AI-driven decisions.

During the Q&A session with Winston Thomas, Editor-in-Chief of CDOTrends, DigitalWorkforceTrends and DataOpsTrends, Joshua discussed the relationship between human and LLM biases, highlighting the importance of testing bias and directing it towards better outcomes. He also addressed the growing importance of orchestration when datasets influence AI outcomes, emphasising the need to consider the human element rather than relying solely on AI.

Successful AI adoption is not simply about giving AI more responsibility, but about enabling better work, better thinking and better decisions through thoughtful leadership and human accountability.
